Foggy Night

So the other night it was incredibly foggy, like you couldn't see 10ft in front of you. I set up my camera and with a little magic got a fantastic shot that I hope you will like.

As always, thank you for following and have a great day!

Ides of March.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted on here. The winter has been long as well as freezing, leaving me to sit inside and watch the snow accumulate and the birds eat from the feeders. Well, now I'm out of bird seed and the snow is melting and hopefully I can get back out and take a lot of photos! We had a few warm days despite all the fluffy white stuff, so i was able to take some pretty cool pictures and this morning I had my first fox sighting in over 2 months! Very exciting! It's supposed to be warm out for the next week so I'll do my best to keep everything up to date. Till then I hope you enjoy some of my most recent photos.

Sunset Lapse

Today was a time lapsing day, with 1.5 ft of snow on the ground there wasn't much else to do. I originally wanted to get a lapse of my family clearing off the driveway, but my battery for the Gopro wasn't full enough for that. So I charged it up and set to lapsing the bird feeder and that went pretty well, took a 2 hr 6,000 picture lapse of the feeder, they seemed pretty happy. So it was getting late and the sun was barely showing, I decided to try to catch the sunset. Well, it went fairly well, until the battery died completely in the middle of the set. I still made a lapse video, it is missing a chunk of daylight but still kind of looks cool. I hope you enjoy it.

Snow Anyone?

So it snowed a good ft and almost more last night into today. Since I haven't taking any serious pictures in a while I thought I'd try my hand at a time lapse. So I mounted my Gopro on the window and left outside for about an hour. it picked up a few trucks going down the road and some people having fun. The end result was a video of about 44 seconds time. Last step, add some mood music and off we go to publishing. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out, even if it is just 5 megapixels per frame at 1080p video.

Enjoy it, I'm making a happy bird feeder lapse next.
